Hey, its Wednesday, which means it’s time for us to catch up on all of the week’s cycling news that you haven’t been reading about on Cycle Twin Cities.

Picture Via: Fat Bike
We are guessing that the blog Fat-Bike.com has a local representative conducting interviews because in just a few short weeks, they have two Twin Cities-centric articles. First they stopped by Freewheel Bike in Minneapolis to check out the stock of fat bikes.
Hot on the heels of that they stopped by local frame builder A-Train Cycles and checked out his very cool looking stainless steel fat bikes…. although I’m guessing the bike he’s holding up at left is not a fat bike (rim brakes don’t happen on those).
Bicycle Times has posted a nice little overview of “The surprising rise of Minneapolis as a top bike town”. It is penned (or typed) by Jay Walljasper, local cycling blogger extraordinaire. It’s lengthy but worth the read.
Minneapolis Bicycle Polo hit the road over Easter Weekend and took 3rd place in the Battle for the Middle West in Bloomington, Indiana. Nice to see them representing the Twin Cities with a podium finish!
The Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition has an update from one of their Subcommittees, definitely worth the read. It is one that you might have never heard of, the Encouragement Enforcement Education Subcomittee, and the cover some pretty cool stuff that you might never have heard of.
Jeff has posted some pictures from Bandit Cross over the weekend.
ARTCRANK here is a nice time-lapse video of the event:
As always we wrap it up with a video. The Ragnarök is the official start of gravel season… exciting! Here is a little video to get you going.
