Weekend Cycling Events
Another weekend full of amazing weather. Hopefully by now your bike is out of the garage and cleaned up (if you ever stored it in there) and ready to go. We repeat our pleas of last week…..Please, please, pretty please, ride your bike this weekend. We don’t know why the weather is like this in March, but we might pay for it later, so enjoy it while you can.
Saturday:

Eventhough we are without Cars-R-Coffins, we still have the Slick 50! Although this year, we highly doubt the slick part of that equation. This is an excellent ride, with excellent people, but if you come be ready to ride your butt-off. Gravel is on the menu and it should be a great training ride for those on the Almanzo 2012 track. With weather predicted to be Sunny and in the 70′s it will be a great day for a ride. We’ll be there, will you? Check out the full details on the website.
Sunday:
Day After St. Pat’s Day 100K (or 50K if you wuss out). If you don’t over-do-it on Saturday the folks at MORBID have a double loop ride scheduled for Sunday morning, here is the info:
“Leave from Angry Catfish about 0930, do two loops of a 31m(50k) route for 62m(100k) total. Do one or two loops. Thinking lunch at Pizza Luce Hopkins during the 2nd loop. Won’t be a slow ride, won’t be fast, will have stops for regrouping / snacks. Let me know if you have questions. Feel free to fwd to pals. You are responsible for yourself, ride within your limits, don’t piss off traffic or peds, don’t be a jerk. cool?
Event Info on the face places.
